NATASHA & EDWARD CELEBRATE IN STYLE AT THE CITY ROOMS
It was utter madness from the second I walked through Natasha’s front door. Her downstairs was packed with family and friends all eating breakfast, drinking prosecco, there was hair in the lounge, makeup in the kitchen, a terrified cat and their baby Isabelle. Seriously, it was awesome, so much going on, including a FaceTime call to friends in Australia who were 9 hours ahead, but getting ready in their suits and dresses to “attend” the wedding ceremony. Genius! Once everyone had their hair and makeup finished we all travelled over to The City Rooms.
Edward, his best man and the ushers were at the pub (obviously) so I went to visit them before returning to Natasha and the bridesmaids to put on her dress. The City Rooms is an amazing venue, the main ballroom is incredible with it’s high ceiling, impressive chandeliers, balcony and huge sash windows. I love the light that floods in through the windows. The ushers settled their nerves before the ceremony with their hip flasks, a quality touch, and Natasha entered with her father following her bridesmaids, and honorary bridesmaid, Josh (her brother) who walked their daughter down the aisle. Legend.
After the confetti throwing Natasha & Edward wanted to go to the Botanical Gardens, the location they had their pre wedding shoot for some artistic portraits and when we returned we still had a little time left for a drink before heading back into the main room for three superb speeches and dinner.
Natasha, Edward and their families are clearly very social, and great fun, from the moment the band started they were on the dance floor, ties round the head, insane dance moves and dare I say it a little undressing, but hey, go hard or go home right?
My favourite bits: Morning Chaos with the girls, Lads Banter at the Pub, The First Kiss, Ushers and the Hip Flasks, The Botanical Gardens, The First Dances and Ties around the Heads.
Enjoy!
