Beautiful historic hall in the peak district

Tissington Hall is an awesome place to be married. The hall itself has loads of history and is a luxury backdrop to the wedding day. It’s over 400 years old and has a number of places where you can actually tie the knot. Civil ceremonies are held either in the hall itself or outside in the courtyard if the weather’s nice. For religious ceremonies it’s a short walk down the road to St.Mary’s Church. The bridal suite is huge and has loads of character and when it comes to dinner and evening reception there’s a large marquee in the garden that you can style however you like. Tissington is a really old village a few miles north of Ashbourne in Derbyshire on the southern tip of the peak district. The scenery is beautiful.
