 WINTER WEDDING AT PRESTWOLD HALL

It’s not hard to see why Emily & Stephen chose Prestwold Hall to celebrate their wedding, it’s a stunning venue with beautiful views over the Leicestershire countryside. As you would expect at this time of year there was a HUGE Christmas tree that dominated the entrance hall as well as huge open fireplaces throughout the house keeping everyone warm. I can imagine this place would look incredible in the summer too, with its landscaped lawns and expanse of land around the house.

Emily spent her morning in the bridal suite with her mum, son, bridesmaids and dad. Loads of fun just chilling out doing a bit of hair and makeup. Stephen and the lads turned up around midday for a bacon sandwich and a beer in the bar and waited for their guests to arrive. The ceremony was a full house, absolutely packed out, and also included Emily’s brother on a FaceTime call all the way from the United States. Love it!

We had to make the most of the dwindling light so had a little wander around the house and grounds before coming back into the warmth of the house for some champagne and nibbles before dinner. The speeches were brilliant and contained a little nod towards Stephen’s Swedish heritage with a Swedish shot and lots of people shouting Skål across the tables! Brad Matthews entertained everyone throughout the evening with his acoustic vibes and a wonderful first dance. Congratulations Emily & Stephen! Amazing day!
